For those of you who haven't yet noticed, Minecraft updated to version 1.8 about two hours
ago! Just start it on up and it'll download and you WILL enjoy it (or else). If you find any
bugs (you will) or cool looking stuff (you definitely will), feel free to post it in reply to this

damnit im reading this on my phone during lunch in school. now i wont beable to focus on my last three classes

Well the servers will be updated tonight, but I'm not sure when everything will be back in place since the plugin developers need to finish their updates. So I would say before Friday the build and RPG server will be back up.
Yeah, I fell asleep at 5:00pm, woke up at 1:32am, and read Notch's Twitter. I'm excited to get into it tomorrow. I'll tell you this though, if they don't give the endermen their own sounds, I'll make my own.
Edit: I'll also make some silverfish sounds, so they'll be done around late saturday

C418 has stated that he has made/is making unique sounds, but that they will probably be released by 1.9/official release.

Minecraft maps on tf2 suck. I went in with an Equalizer and I couldn't mine anything. :mad:
i actually tried that in a minecraft server i could break a few rocks but i couldnt mine the diamonds they had there

So far the maximum number of breakable blocks you can have is just under 1024, but that may be reduced due to other necessary items you need in a TF2 map. Just a 10 x 10 x 10 block area would use 1000 blocks, not much of a map. This is why I hate the valve source engine.
