Tank. Easier to pilot, safer (hit something with a jet and you're done), more destructive (cannon plus 72 tons of metal running into anything is at least gonna destroy if not dent it).

And that's why I want a fighter jet.

Think about it you can outrun an attack and if you need to eject, can't do that in a tank your hit your gone.
