Now, The trolls have different blood colors and they treat it like a caste system. The lowest being those with red blood (Karkat would be the very lowest) and the highest being those with magenta blood (Feferi, who is related to the current ruler of their planet Alternia) Both Eridan and Feferi are of the two highest castes and therefore, live in the sea. Those with lower ranking blood colors are refered to as lowbloods (by people higher than them) and people with higher colors are refered to as highbloods (by those lower than them).
Or at least that's how it would work if everyone was as polite as Equius...They generally just call each other by name. ._.;
