Quote from: SuperKamiGuru;9511I think the reason why no fucking person is on because this asshole named Popo got comm. He has been power abusing like fucking hell and he should be banned from all of UA and put on a wooden steak and be deprived of all the Kit-Kats of the world. Fucking goddamn it I hate that guy.

That's definitely why. Self-abuse isn't really funny though, but for Popo, I'll make an exception to my morals for that.

[TF2] UA MarioKart 24-7 / Jetpack, Remove or not Poll
September 04, 2012, 12:13:11 PM
Yeah one thing I've noticed is that noob snipers use it one hell of a lot to get around and never bothered figuring out how to get to the clouds without it, as Damon so aptly put it. The only thing I really use it for is to minimize fall damage, but I'll just have to learn to be a bit more careful. I voted it gone.

Video Games / Your favorite games growing up
August 16, 2012, 06:33:21 AM
I went far into Pokémon at about the age of 4 when I got my first (bright yellow) Gameboy probably a mistake in the long term for my parents since that's what spawned my addiction to video games. I played Yellow / Red / Blue (in that order), Blue more so than the rest, until I got myself a Gameboy Color. From there it was Pokémon Gold, then came the SP which I played Emerald on. Lastly was the DS, probably 4-5 years ago now, which I played Pearl extensively on. I sorta quit at Gen 5 where the devs seem to be losing a little creativity on the design imo. I still mix and match their sprites for fun though, albeit, only up to Gen 4.

I literally only no consoles except a shitty computer so the majority of console gaming was spent at a couple of friends' houses. Of the mass of games we played, the only ones I remember are the two I enjoyed the most.

One was, justifiably, Super Smash Bros. Melee, which I was never able to beat my friend at, despite my best efforts. Favourite characters were Roy, Cpt. Falcon and Mewtwo, respectively. Got myself a Wii a year or so later (or whenever the hell they came out) and killed off weeks worth of hours in Super Smash Bros. Favourites being Meta Knight (until he got his ass banned from national standards) whereupon they became Toon Link, Lucario, and Falco, respectively.

The other game which another friend and I pulled so many all-nighters on was MechAssault. In specific, New River City. My fondest memories were of him posing as bait to lure the big ones in while I latched my tiny suit onto their backs and hacked them so they shut down. *Sigh* Good Times....

Announcements / Shutting Down some servers
August 11, 2012, 01:46:02 AM
Forums must stay. No arguments there.

I think the MC RPG is a definite must, though I've never seen it full since I've joined UA, and as already stated, could probably be cut down in player slots without too many complaints.

If the Minecraft Creative world goes down, then if it's possible, perhaps a world file could be created for people who had made stuff in it. I know from experience that it's almost disappointing to have your creations get deleted with no backups. Although it might be that people don't use it to the point that they no longer care about any creations.

TF2 Capture.....well let's put it this way, I thought it had already been shut down.

Terraria I know people visit once in a while but it seems pretty scarce to me.

Killing Floor and Gmod I can't speak for, but based on the above comments, it seems as if they aren't too popular.

My two cents~

Sends in an army of cockroaches to invade Soda's hotels, people move out and my army inhabits the hill. I am therefore indirectly in control of the hill. Mai hill.

Meh, I thought it was a crude imitation of what it could've been, I had to debate with myself whether to add the ears / tail or not. But my thanks nonetheless though.

Based off the Discussion from the Mariokart map on Diglett, I decided to make this:

Pikachu + Diglett.....

-->
= Egg.....

-->
Which = .....

Digachu! :D

Btw the picture gets sketchier the closer you zoom in so I suggest leaving it like that xd

On a side note, Dragon would be correct. You can still kick ass with the worst weapon in your arsenal is you use it properly. On the other hand, I tend to use Bighead's tactic more often irl. Intimidation works well to keep people quiet :)

Quote from: DragonMasterNYC;5198I remember those days, then again I don't like to use Yoshi to much.

Haha I know what you mean, whenever I tried that attack to curl into an egg and move back and forth, it kept turning into suicide.

This is true - one cannot simply run like hell away from a very dangerous very well known fist wielding heavy when one can't use jetpack in moderation and it's evident where one would usually be going. Take him on a mixed up detour and then disappear when he thinks he has you :) This strategy has mixed results and sometimes also works well for the Pyro, under the assumption you can stay out of range of its' flamethrower.

Well as much as it kills me to say this, I agree that Pyros should have some form of balance on the surface. Unlimited? No. That would just rain hell down on whoever went above ground ever again, but a boosted jetpack? Sure why not. I know from experience that it's actually not that hard to pick off jetpackers, under the assumption you're on solid ground. The other reason would be because people are simply dead in the air if they're in the air when the jetpack wears off, which happens far too often.
I'm for them having an added jetpack, not unlimited. It may be annoying as hell when you get flamed from behind (especially with the backburner) while you're trying to line up a shot, but my advice is this: don't let yourself become seen. I've been through enough by now to know that most of the shots you need to take can just as easily be accomplished from the ground instead of somewhere readily viewable by others, such as the clouds, ships, ledges, or building tops. All you have to do is adapt your playing style to the opponents you're up against. Works like a charm :)
