Flapjack was nice enough to gift me Minecraft.  I would like to give him a big thanks.  I already know a lot about the game so i don't need an explanation about the game.  The only problem is that i can't seem to connect to any multiplayer servers.  I tried connecting to the UA RPG server and some other servers as well, but I end up getting a message saying that i got disconnected because it is talking a long time to connect.  Do any of you guys know how i can be able to get on servers?  I'd really apreciate it.  Thanks.

Hmm, are you sure you are typing in the full address? For example:

111.22.333.44:55555

I actually was able to get on a server now, but the UA one still doesnt work.  I got on the other one via spoutcraft from the server list, so i guess that's different than getting on a server by typing in the address.

It is koipcomper.  I didn't choose it.  Flapjack gave me the username and password.

I've been playing a lot with some mods for 1.2.3, namely the yogbox mod pack, thaumcraft 2, and equivalent exchange 2. Thaumcraft 2 got greatly improved from thaumcraft one.
