Proper introduction

I know I've been around on both the Mario Kart server and this forum, but I feel you guys don't know me that well. That's about to change.

My name is James, but I usually go by Pickslide, SLide of Pickles, or Nightmare Moon on Steam. I'm 18 years old and I've been playing TF2 since it was F2P (I was about to buy it but literally a day later it was F2P). I honestly think I'm decent, good on some days, sucky on others.

As for personal interests outside of TF2, I'm a musician and aspiring cartoonist. Heck, one of the things that drew me into Tf2 was its cartoony graphics. Anyway, I play guitar, bass, drums, and a bit of piano/synth.

As you can probably guess by my Steam icon and name, I'm a MLP: FiM fan (I detest the word brony BTW), and proud of it. (Avoids the amount of rotten fruit thrown at his direction) With that out of the way, let's continue.

I'm also a film/music buff. I'd mention some favorites, but I can;'t decide on a select few.

That said, I'm happy I stumbled upon this server and forum and I hope you enjoy my company!

That's pretty much the story with all of us.  Nonetheless, welcome to the forums!  I promise (as much pain as it causes me) not to harass you about the whole Pony thing; everyone has their own opinions and likes.  Also, I'd quite like to see some of your cartoonist work if possible.  If you can, please post it on the forums for everyone to enjoy!

Thanks for the warm reception, guys. I'd certainly love to show you some of my drawings (I am about to redo one TF2 related one I did when I first started playing).

As for the Pony thing, yeah I know it's not everyone's cup of tea and I'm not the type to force it down anyone's throats (That'd make me as bad as the Twilight fan girls. xD). I just noticed there were some people here who enjoy it so I thought I'd mention it.

Yup, you got that right. But, I can like anyone, even 12 year olds, if they're cool. Pick has broken the Epicness Counter. I can tolerate him as an MLP fan or not. I just hate the fanbase that say "OMG U NO LIEK MLP U BERN IN HElL!1one+eleven". Just so long he doesn't mind me having an opinon and mature, he's cool with me

EDIT: I am not a troll saying "OMG U NO LEIF GET OUT OF UR FCKIN AS AND MAEK MUNIEZ INSTED OF WATHING MLP!!!1#". I believe anyone and everyone is entitled to their own opinon; even here. I just despise people that force their ways upon us. I like some kid shows, like Tom & Jerry, but I don't tell my neighbor while he's watering the lawn "Let's love each other on top of a rainbow <3"

^Yeah, really the reason a lot of us are like that is because we tend to get a lot of hate/trolling and whatnot, to the point where false flagging was the norm, so that's a bit of an excuse. As for me, like I said, it makes me no better than the Bieber fan brats to whine about trolls.

Most people are trolls because nothing attracts trolls to, uhm... I'll say this, but please don't take offence: people that are mature that wacth a kid's show, not to mention the all female cast. I have nothing against that. I have taken a, let's say, 'disliking' to people who are perverts and draw "Rule #34" about the show and people who annoy you constantly to watch the show. I have seen the show and don't find anything interesting or the qualities that MLP fans say they are, but hey, we're two different people, aren't we? Maybe you have seen somthing in the show that I'm blind to. If you don't force feed me the show, we can get along no problem.

It's the net I was kinda surprised when the rules were posted it never was in the first 10 on any site, most of the traffic on the net was porn. The net was not a safe place for kids, then again it still isn't.
